The Siren's call

In Greek mythology, Sirens are creatures whose enchanting song lures sailors. They appear notably in Homer's Odyssey, when Odysseus asks to be tied to the mast of his ship so that he can hear their song without succumbing to their power.

Through the centuries, their image has evolved. Initially depicted as bird-women in Antiquity, they gradually became, in the Western imagination, women with fish tails. Écho des Sirènes is inspired by this iconic representation while paying homage to the founding tales of the Mediterranean.
